A campus, simulated. Behaviour, forecast.

Developed at MSA University, the project simulates an RFID-enabled campus in which attendance and payments are recorded as events — then applies predictive analytics to forecast attendance and spending behaviour.

It began as my graduation project (graded A-) and became part of the research presented at IEEE ICLLDE-25. The environment is entirely simulated: no physical RFID hardware was deployed.

Method.

  1. 01Simulated RFID eventsAttendance and campus payments generated as an event stream.
  2. 02Feature engineeringBehavioural features with pandas and NumPy.
  3. 03Decision Tree · Random ForestTrained and evaluated with scikit-learn.
  4. 04ForecastsAttendance behaviour and spending behaviour.
The RFID system's dashboard: balance, purchases, attendance, lectures, students, teachers and today's transactions, with a purchase-history chart.
The system's dashboard, running on simulated data.
